CannExpo 2024

This is a piece I was commissioned to create for the 2024 CannExpo event. It was designed to advertise the Cannabis Literary Showcase booth at CannExpo. The objective was to entice viewers to come pick up a book from the various authors being showcased at the event.

This poster has been featured on the CannExpo website, and the social media pages of various event managers. It has also been printed out to be used as advertisement for the event.

Social Media Internship

During the final year of my undergraduate degree, I participated in the Riipen Level Up program. Level up is a program that allows “students [to] grow their skills and portfolios by working on real projects with real impact” (RIIPEN level up for students. Riipen Level UP for Students. I was tasked with supporting the launch, and creating social media content for various brands. I worked on a jewelry campaign, an alcohol brand launch and social media for a bridal company.

Within this internship, I shot and edited video footage for TikTok and Instagram Reels, designed Instagram grid layouts, assisted in administrative tasks such as website/social media setup, as well as booking/planning brand photoshoots.

These are some of the short-form vertical videos I shot and edited, to showcase Behind The Scenes of the jewelry product photo shoots. These photo shoots were completely planned and operated by the students in the Riipen Level UP program.

(Each video would be accompanied by a trending audio/song from the respective social platform).

After receiving the finished photographs from the previous shoot, I would begin designing social media grid-layouts. I designed various prototypes of social media grid-layouts. These grid designs included product photos, images containing the logo and company branding, Behind-The-Scenes videos from the photo shoots, Product Teaser videos, a message from the brand CEO, etc).

Portrait Commissions

Throughout my career as an artist, I have included the creation of custom portraits, tailored to individual clients. From solo portraits, to groups, to pet portraits. Clients choose their background and outfit colours. I, then, show clients the final stages of the image, allowing for suggestions and edits to be made. The final product is a file containing both a .pdf and .png file of the final image. I retain all working files and copyright of images.
